Here is a basic CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) graph I use to help our Athletes to get to training every session without fail.
“Energy in Motion” Graph
To achieve your ‘Goal’ (training). The ‘PURPOSE’ of this training session (process) will get me closer to my Ultimate Dream (World WMC Muay Thai Champion).
Let us go with the left – 1. you don’t feel like training today because….Bahbahbah….. 2. your ‘energy in motion’ is negative 3.that is NO action 4.never make it to training
Right – 1. take ‘action’, even if you don’t feel like it 2.your ‘energy in motion’ is positive, knowing you make the choice 3.start feeling good and positive 4.Goal, training consistently with a purpose will get to your ultimate goal
If you don’t understand any of the above. The simple language to get your ass to training – have a Purpose, put your Feeling aside, take Action, be Consistent and have a Good time.
