  • Best place to be! Choosing Southside is one of the best decisions I’ve made. Training at SSMT has helped me get in shape but most importantly has made me a stronger person mentally and emotionally and I will be forever grateful for that, and the people I’ve met in the process.

  • I have only been training at this club since November 2017 and it has been amazing. The coaches Barry Saunders and Kar Wong are the best coaches I have ever trained with, it is so very clear that they both have years of knowledge and experience as athletes, fighters, as teachers and trainers. The integrity and respect the coaches have for their students shows in their fighters.   • Great gym that teaches genuine Muay Thai techniques and has authentic martial arts values.
    Have been going for 7 years now and have also enjoyed building new friendships at this gym.
    I initially joined to lose weight and have lost around 20kg overall and maintaining.

  • Great gym to learn authentic Muay Thai technique from two of the best Coaches you could ask for!! I initially joined to loose some weight but found myself quickly becoming obsessed with the healthy lifestyle Muay Thai promotes as well as the mental and physical challenges it can offer you. I have since personally lost over 20Kgs in just over a year and I still look forward to every training!!

  • Not just throwing this 5 star rating around willy nilly! Very much deserved 5 stars to Coach Barry and Coach Karr... if I could give them 6 stars I would. The atmosphere in this gym is addictive, the trainers, fighters and students are all very welcoming. The coaches and fighters set the bar high when it comes to technique and fitness. I miss this place so much!

  • Active member for almost a year, SsMT is the highlight of my working week! The classes are always different, fun and challenging. It's a place I can forget about the outside world... challenge and better myself mentally & physically. I walk out feeling accomplished and 10 feet tall!! And a top endorphin buzz too 🙂 All the coaches are awesome in their own special way, great facilities and opening hours.

The trainers are amazing, friendly, motivated, determined and always there to help you with whatever you need (whether it be Muay Thai related or not) I look up to Baz and Kar so much and am so thankful for all the time, effort and help that they put into every member and every session!!   • Would 100 percent recommend Southside Muay Thai. I was a beginner and I have learnt so much within the past 4 months I have been there. The coaches are wonderful and professional and the atmosphere has been amazing and vibrant. I enjoy coming to Southside and get excited every time I book in a class!

  • I've been training at Southside for over 4 years now and started fighting just over a year ago.

    Southside is a genuine Muay Thai gym and is perfectly catered for beginners and families right through to professional fighters.

    I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to improve their fitness while learning the art of eight limbs.
